Don't Make This Sales Mistake
The goal of a sales meeting shouldn't be to close the deal. Just wanting to close the deal is short term thinking. People are likely to sense it, which will make them run away from you and never come back.
The goal should be to help the other person in the best way possible. This sometimes means not closing the deal. You may miss out on short term money, but it is the right thing to do and in the long term it can pay off dividends.
The person may refer other people to you who are a potential fit or they come back to you themselves in a later stage when the time is right. Knowing that you are the person who is honest and is there to help them, not just to make a quick buck.
Of course not every blog is going to be as good as the other one, just like every day is not going to be good as the other.
