Information vs Knowledge

Lately I have been doing more studying and been seeing a lot of things getting confirmed. Perhaps confirmation bias has to do with that. But the way I see it, is that I was already having information, mainly gained by reverse engineering and doing it. And now I start to create more structure in this information. Being able to put it in words, getting to know the terminology and being able to connect the dots. I think that is the difference between information and knowledge. Knowledge is being able to connect the information.

Personally I think many are making it more complicated than necessary though, perhaps mainly to showcase their knowledge. I like to keep it practical. The structure helps me do that and communicate it better.
