Do This And Have More Freedom & Creativity!
I always used to do my school work last minute or not at all, that was an option too. In my work I always deliver, but I still used to do things on the day itself. I somewhat needed that pressure to be the most efficient. This is all fun, but doesn't work in the long run and especially not when you work in a team.
When you do things on the day itself, there is no room for errors or changes. It can become super hectic and frustrating when things go wrong and get delayed, because there is no time.
That's why I try as much as possible to get ahead of schedule. This allows everyone to work on the projects on their own time. It also allows you to schedule the work, so you can focus on the more important stuff. And most importantly, if something goes wrong... you still have time to fix it!
The result is more freedom, which creates room for creativity, and there is less stress. Enough reasons why you should get ahead of schedule!
